Speaking to iFollow Iron, the 25-year-old Belgian has expressed his excitement to meet the fans at Glanford Park and give them what they want.

ON BEDDING INTO THE TEAM…
FO: I'm still settling in. It's not just that you have to settle on the pitch but off it as well. I'm still getting some stuff sorted out, but I'm getting a feel for the players. They've taken me in really well. I don't have a car yet but I'm getting driven into the training ground with some of the lads every day. That's helping me to get to know the players and I'm still really happy to be here.

ON THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DUTCH AND ENGLISH FOOTBALL…
FO: Before I signed here, they told me that there was a difference in the training intensity and the way that we train. I think that the only difference is the way that we play. In Holland, the fans always want to see nice and pretty football. However, here it's about keeping the clean sheet, scoring goals and always pressing forward.

"I’m not going to say that I will score goals and get assists because my statistics don't back that up. I’m always involved in goals though, and I hope to be here."

ON HIS POTENTIAL LEAGUE DEBUT…
FO: I met the fans when we played against Sunderland. That was nice because in Austria there was around ten people watching who were friends and family of the opposition. It will be different in a league game because the stakes are high but I'm looking forward to seeing how they welcome me.

ON WHAT HE BRINGS TO THE TEAM…
FO: I'm trying to bring stability into the midfield and make us play. I'm hoping to let us play a bit more football from the back and be that connection between them and the forwards. I’m not going to say that I will score goals and get assists because my statistics don't back that up. I’m always involved in goals though, and I hope to be here.
