Scunthorpe United can announce Adam Kerr has joined the club’s backroom staff as our Head of Physical Performance.
Adam joins the Iron after four years as Middlesbrough’s Head of Fitness between June 2013 and July 2017.
He has also worked for Boro as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach between October 2011 and July 2012, before moving onto Arsenal as their Academy Sports Scientist.
Kerr said: “I’m delighted to be joining Scunthorpe United and I’m looking forward to working with the manager, the staff and all the players in what will hopefully be a very successful season.” Manager
Graham Alexander added: “We’re delighted to have Adam on board with us. We’ve been looking for quite a long time now for someone to fill that role and it has taken a while to get the right person, but we believe we have. He’s coming in to work as Head of Physical Performance and he will be in charge of that from now on. He’s really looking forward to working with myself and the rest of the staff to be better in all aspects.”
