United full back Scott Wiseman played the full 90 minutes as his Gibraltar side were beaten 5-0 by European champions Portugal.
Collecting his eight cap, Wiseman faced up against a Portugal team which included the likes of Nani and Real Madrid’s Pepe.After fighting valiantly, the visitors fell behind on 27 minutes, with Nani opening the scoring. The former Manchester United man then doubled his tally for the evening, making it 2-0 ten minutes after the break.
Goals from Joao Cancelo, Bernardo Silva and Pepe then added some gloss to the victory, as the hosts ran out comfortable victors.
Wiseman and his Gibraltar teammates are next in action on Tuesday 6th September, when they take on Greece.
