Iron midfielder Josh Morris has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One player of the month award for August.
The 24-year-old has scored six goals in all competitions so far, including a spectacular opening day goal against Bristol Rovers.It caps an impressive opening month for the winger, who signed from Bradford City in the summer.
Also nominated are Millwall striker Steve Morison, Port Vale defender Nathan Smith and Bolton midfielder Jay Spearing.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
