John Busby will referee United’s away fixture against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
This will be Busby’s first time refereeing either side, having officiated in the National League last season, where he showed 44 yellow and eight red cards in the 18 matches he took charge of.So far this campaign, he’s been the man in the middle on six occasions, and has produced 20 yellow cards, without dismissing anyone as of yet.
Busby will be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Ian Dudley and Iain Siddall, with Peter Gibbons taking up the position of fourth official.
