John Brooks will referee the Iron’s home encounter with Southend United this Saturday.
Brooks has so far officiated six matches this season, showing 29 yellow cards and dismissing just the one player in the process.The referee has never been the man in the middle for a fixture involving either of the two sides, in this his full season.
Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, Brooks took charge of 21 games, cautioning 45 players and producing no red cards.
He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Paul Marsden and Michael Denton, with Paul Graham taking up the role of fourth official.
