Iron boss Graham Alexander has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One manager of the month award for August.
It comes after a start to the season which saw United accrue 10 points from their first five games, winning three of the matches and scoring 13 goals in the process.Alexander won the last Sky Bet League One manager of the month award too, back in April, as Scunthorpe ended the 2015-16 season with six straight wins.
Also nominated are Gillingham's Justin Edinburgh, Bradford's Stuart McCall and Bolton's Phil Parkinson.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
