Alexander won the last Sky Bet League One manager of the month award too, back in April, as Scunthorpe ended the 2015-16 season with six straight wins.
Also nominated are Gillingham's Justin Edinburgh, Bradford's Stuart McCall and Bolton's Phil Parkinson.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
