HAYWOOD TO REFEREE MK DONS CLASH

14 October 2016

Mark Haywood will referee the Iron’s home clash with MK Dons on Saturday.

Haywood has already taken charge of nine matches so far this season and, in those games, he’s produced 27 yellow and three red cards.

Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the man from West Yorkshire took charge of 32 games, cautioning 77 players and dismissing seven.

The 2014-15 season was the most recent time Haywood officiated a Scunthorpe match, when they drew 2-2 at home to Chesterfield in January 2015.

He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Gary Hilton and Matthew Bristol, with Simon Mather taking up the role of fourth official.
