ENGLAND TO REFEREE OLDHAM CLASH

18 October 2016

Darren England will referee the Iron’s away clash with Oldham Athletic on Tuesday night.

England has already taken charge of 10 matches so far this season and, in those games, he’s produced 21 yellow and four red cards.

Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the official took charge of 30 games, cautioning 97 players and dismissing six.

Last season was the most recent time that England officiated an Iron match, when Graham Alexander’s men were 3-2 victors away at Crewe in April.

He’ll be joined on Tuesday by assistant referees Helen Byrne and Matthew Parry, with Mark Heywood taking up the role of fourth official.
