OTD: NOVEMBER 5

5 November 2016

Remembering past matches played by the Iron on November 5...

The Iron drew 2-2 away at Bury in the FA Cup first round On This Day in 2005.

Craig Dootson, playing in place of suspended Neil Edwards, thwarted Andy Keogh, whose early header put had Bury ahead.

Bury's second-half goals came from a contentious penalty that Tom Kennedy converted, with Paul Scott driving in a superb equaliser in the 70th minute

Keogh headed in Cliff Byrne's centre and Ian Baraclough smashed in a second for the visitors' first-half goals.

Overall playing record for November 5: Played 11, Won 4, Drawn 4, Lost 3, Scored 16, Conceded 12.
