Jonathan Moss will referee the Iron’s away league fixture with Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
Moss has officiated ten matches so far this season and, in those games, he’s produced 48 yellow cards and dismissed two players.Moss last refereed a United match back in the 2010-11 season, as Scunthorpe played Millwall at Glanford Park.
Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the official took charge of 33 games, cautioning 97 players and sending off seven.
He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Andrew Halliday and Edward Smart, with Michael Salisbury taking up the role of fourth official.
