LOAN WATCH

11 November 2016

Taking a look at the Iron players currently on loan away from Glanford Park…

In our latest Loan Watch review, we round-up the fortunes of the likes of Kyle Wootton and Scott Laird, as well as providing an update on the fitness of Jack Dyche and Noel Burdett.

Full back Laird is continuing to feature on a regular basis for Walsall, and has completed a further two 90 minutes, in a 1-1 draw with Coventry City and a 1-0 home loss to Macclesfield respectively.

Wootton is currently still in search of his first goal for North Ferriby, who recently picked up a valuable home point in a goalless draw with Wrexham.

Down south at Stevenage, Jack King’s loan club have been knocked out of the FA Cup, but have picked up another three league points in a 2-1 away victory against Mansfield Town.

Dominic Vose is playing under new management at Grimsby Town, after Marcus Bignot was appointed following Paul Hurst’s switch to Shrewsbury Town. The Mariners currently sit one point and one place outside of the play-off places, with Crewe occupying seventh spot.

Dyche and Burdett are yet to to feature for Ashton United and Frickley Athletic since they both picked up injuries, but Burdett is closing in on a return to action.
