Here's a guide of how supporters can get to Peterborough United this Tuesday.
By Car...From Glanford Park, take the first left at the roundabout by Tesco’s and the first exit at the next one onto the M181 to Humber Bridge/Doncaster/M180. At the fork, exit left onto the M180 toward Hull/Grimsby/Airport. After six-and-a-half miles, exit at junction four in the direction of Scunthorpe/Lincoln/Brigg/A18 and take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A15. Go through the next two roundabouts before taking the third exit at the next one, onto the A46 and stay on this A-road for around another 15 miles. Merge onto the A1 and after 46 miles, exit towards Alwalton/Business Park/Showground/Chesterton. Continue onto Oundle Rd and stay on the A605, going through six roundabouts over four miles before turning right onto London Road, where you will see the home of Peterborough Football Club.
By Train...
For details of your planned journey, head to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/. From Peterborough station, you can get a bus from Bourges Boulevard or take the ten minute walk to the ground, or get a taxi. To walk, the Posh’s official website reads: “Turn right out of station and head towards the main road. Turn right and head towards the big roundabout. Go under the Railway Bridge and walk up the path or steps to main road. Use the pedestrian underpass and pass the Evening Telegraph on the left-hand side. At the traffic lights, turn right and the ground is situated on the left hand side over the town bridge.”
Pubs and Grub...
There are some good places to eat in the town centre by the train station. The Cherry Tree pub proves to be popular as they provide a great range of food and drinks on matchday. There’s a pub near the ground but you have a wide selection as it is located so near the town centre. The same goes with food, with a KFC among others available.
What to Expect...
The ABAX Stadium is a fairly old but vintage ground which provides an enjoyable matchday experience. With it being so close to the town centre, it makes it easily accessible and gives you plenty to do before kick-off.
