Charles Breakspear will referee the Iron's away clash with Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
Breakspear has took officiated 18 matches so far this season and, in those games, he's produced 81 yellow and four red cards.Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the man from Surrey cautioned 142 players, and sent off four, in 37 matches.
The official last refereed a Scunthorpe fixture back in 2014, when United faced Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
He'll be joined on Tuesday by assistant referees John Farries and Marc Wilson, with Gavin Muge taking up the role of fourth official.
