IRON 13/5 TO WIN AT WALSALL

1 March 2016

The Iron are 13/5 outsiders to overturn Walsall at the Bescot Stadium on Tuesday evening with Sky Bet, the official sponsors of the Football League.

The home side are favourites for victory at 11/10 whilst a draw is priced at 23/10.

Nick Daws’ side head into the fixture buoyed by Kyle Wootton’s late equaliser against Oldham Athletic on Saturday and the young striker is 3/1 to find the net at any time against 4th placed Walsall.

The Saddlers, despite sitting in the play-off places in League One, haven’t won a game since 2 February which is a run of four games.

Their last home game saw Wigan Athletic take away a 2-1 victory and the Iron are priced at 11/1 to come away with the same result.

Last season saw United produce a brilliant performance at the Bescot Stadium to take away a 4-1 victory. Goals from Tom Hooper, Neal Bishop and Paddy Madden, as well as an own goal, were more than enough to earn the three points.

Irishman Madden has already scored 15 goals in League One so far this season and is priced at 11/2 to score the first goal of the game on Tuesday evening and is 2/1 to score at any time.

Sky Bet are also offering some match specials for this fixture. They have given odds of 9/1 for United to find the net inside the first ten minutes and have given an even bigger 11/1 for them to score twice in the first half of the match.
