BET ON THE EUROS WITH SKY BET AND BENEFIT THE IRON

9 June 2016

The European Championships in France are just a day away, and you can benefit both yourself and the club by betting with the club’s official partner, Sky Bet.

Didier Deschamps’ host nation get the action underway against Romania on Friday, and they’re 3/10 to get their campaign off to a winning start. Les Bleus are 4/1 to win by a 1-0 scoreline, and 7/2 to emerge 2-0 victors.

Saturday sees a trio of encounters, starting with Albania versus Switzerland, a match which the Swiss are favourites to win, at odds of 4/5.

Wales are next in action when they take on Slovakia, and the bookmaker has them priced at 17/10 to secure three points in their first major tournament since 1958. They’re priced at 5/1 to achieve a 1-0 success and 11/1 to start the competition with a 2-0 win.

The final of the three matches sees England get their campaign underway when they take on Russia, in a match which Sky Bet price them at 10/11 favourites. Roy Hodgson’s side are at odds of 9/2 to beat the Russians 1-0 and 13/2 to defeat them 2-0.

Sunday has three more fixtures, kicking off with Turkey taking on Croatia in a match which Ante Čačić’s side are expected to run out winners, at a price of 11/10.

The next clash sees Northern Ireland, who like Wales are partaking in a major tournament for the first time after a large absent period, face Poland, and Michael O’Neill’s team are priced at 5/1 to take all three points.

The final match of the day involves the world champions Germany, who face Ukraine in a match in which Joachim Löw’s team are overwhelming favourites for, at 4/7.

Former world champions Spain kick off proceedings on the Monday, in a clash with Czech Republic. Vicente Del Bosque and his team are expected to triumph, and are priced at 4/9.

The Republic Of Ireland then face Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sweden, and the bookmakers feel the Swedes will just edge it, hence their odds of victory being at 11/8.

Monday finishes with perhaps the most mouthwatering clash of the group stages, when Belgium face off against Italy. The Belgians are only narrow favourites for the three points and a draw is the most likely in Sky Bet's eyes, and that’s available at a price of 2/1.

The final round of group stage matches sees Austria and Hungary do battle. It’s an encounter the bookmaker believes the Austrians will emerge victorious from, and odds of 4/6 for them to take three points emphasises this. Portgual, captained by Cristiano Ronaldo, round off the first batch of group fixtures when they face tournament newcomers Iceland. SKYBET expect the Portuguese to run out resounding winners, with them priced at odds of 8/15.
