Scunthorpe United are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Duane Holmes on a free transfer.
The 21-year-old pens a two-year deal to become our third signing of the summer, joining Josh Morris and Sam Mantom at Glanford Park.Holmes, who has been training with us for the past week, joins the Iron following his departure from Huddersfield Town at the end of the previous campaign. He made 26 appearances in all competitions for the Terriers, scoring one goal in the process.
Born in America, Holmes was picked up by Huddersfield in 2013 and has enjoyed loan spells at both Yeovil Town and Bury respectively.
He takes the No 19 shirt.
