The club hosted a successful Open Day ahead of the new season on Friday, July 22.
Click here to download the 12th Man Photo.The event, which lasted around four hours, saw 12th Man holders invited to be a part of the 12th Man photo ahead of the new campaign, including the players, the coaching staff and the youth team.
Shortly after, Graham Alexander and his coaching staff lead an open training session on the Glanford Park playing surface lasting around 100 minutes as they prepare for an encounter with Premier League Hull City on Saturday.
For the whole event, the club had brought in a number of our sponsors including AMS Bobcat, Pepperells and HRVS Man, the latter of whom were raffling off a Sir Geoff Hurst signed ball, the proceeds of which are to be totalled and will be donated to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
There were also a number of stalls for supporters of all ages to engage in and refreshments available throughout the day from our catering points, the Glanford Park restaurant, Jamie's Sweet Emporium and Delduca's Ice creams.
At 1pm, the players exited the stadium from the entrance of the Sir Ian Botham Executive Lounge for a signing session with the supporters who were enjoying the stalls outside the stadium.
Head of Marketing, Ticketing and Retail Rob Noble said: "The club's open day 2016 was a great success with a large number of supporters able to enjoy our open training session and activities outside the stadium, while a number of 12th Man holders took up one of their incentives and be on the annual team photo with the players.
"We would like to thank all of our sponsors and the various companies who took time out of their busy working day to be a part of our Open Day here at Glanford Park and helped make the event successful."
