GETTING TO STAMFORD AFC

8 July 2016

Here is a guide of how to get to the Zeeco Stadium for Iron supporters heading there to watch their side face Stamford AFC on Friday evening.

CLUB DETAILS:
Stamford Association Football Club,
The Zeeco Stadium,
Borderville Sports Centre,
Ryhall Road,
Stamford,
Lincolnshire,
PE9 4QN

MILEAGE:
83.7 miles

BY CAR:
The journey to Stamford takes roughly an hour and forty minutes. Departing from Glanford Park, take the first exit at the roundabout by Tesco onto Doncaster Road, then continue to the next roundabout, taking the first exit again onto the M181, heading towards Humber Bridge/Doncaster/M180.

After two miles, take the exit onto the M180 towards Hull/Grimsby/Airport, and then at junction 4 take the A15 exit to Scunthorpe/Lincoln/Brigg/A18. You’ll then reach a roundabout after 10 miles, where you need to take the third exit onto the A15. There’s then two more roundabouts, where it’s the second exit once more for both, before exiting onto the A46. You then need to stay on the A46 until the A1 slip road to Grantham/Balderton. Once you’ve merged onto the A1, continue on for 33.3 miles where you’ll then need to exit onto B1081 towards Stamford.

There’s then a left turn onto Tolethorpe, before taking the second exit at the roundabout onto Ryhall Road, and then two subsequent right turns onto Rutland Road and Berrybut Way. You’ll then need to turn left onto Armley Grove, before turning right to stay on there, where the ground will appear.
