For many youngsters, meeting their childhood footballing heroes is something they dream of. On Sunday, Richard Clark will do just that.
Richard, aged 10, will walk out alongside the Iron players as a mascot when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.He won a special prize draw, which comprised of young fans who had bought their FA Cup ticket before December 28.
A big United fan, Richard says he's feeling a little nervous ahead of the big day at the Premier League champions.
Richard also spoke of just how difficult it has been to keep the news a secret from his school friends.
He said: "I'm a bit nervous, just because I'll be walking out in front of everyone.
"It was hard keeping it a secret at school, but I've not told any of my friends yet."
Richard's father, Steven will be joining his son at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and he doesn't feel it'll be possible to contain his Richard's excitement come matchday.
He said: "On Sunday I don't think we'll be able to get the smile off his face.
"He couldn't wait to tell everyone at school."
Steven himself is a Blackburn Rovers supporter, but he says there's only ever been one team for his son.
"I'm a Blackburn Rovers supporter, but he's always wanted to come here. He's a season ticket holder as well, at Glanford Park," he revealed.
"My middle son was a mascot here too, and his favourite player was Nathan Stanton."
