Darren Handley will take charge of the Iron's home match with Colchester United this Saturday.
Handley was last involved in a United match, back in March of last year, when the Iron drew 1-1 with Sheffield United at Glanford Park.So far, in his 19 games this campaign, the Lancashire referee has produced 73 yellow cards, and dismissed four players also.
Throughout the 2014-15 season, Handley showed 83 yellow and eight red cards in the 26 games he was in charge of.
He will be assisted on Saturday by Darren Strain and Helen Byrne, with James Wilson as the fourth official.
