Newcomer Dominic Vose is looking forward to showcasing his talents to the Iron faithful.

The attacking midfielder joined from Conference Premier side Wrexham for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day, penning a two-and-a-half-year contract.

He has already scored ten goals this season for the Red Dragons, winning rave reviews for his performances.

The former Fulham and West Ham man is looking forward to carrying on that form in claret and blue.

"I'm delighted to be here. Hopefully we can push on and get into a play-off spot," he told The Iron PlayerHD.

"My agent spoke to me and told me Scunthorpe were interested. It happened today, and I am happy to get the deal signed.

"First thing's first, I want to get into the team. Promotion is also a goal though.

"I've heard (about the club's ambition) and I'm happy to be on board, definitely."

Talking about his attributes on the field, he explained: "I'm a creative player and like to make things happen. I can score a few goals and was top scorer at Wrexham. I like to excite the crowd.

"I can play in central midfield, I've played wide a lot in my career too at Wrexham and Colchester.

"I feel I can play anywhere in the attacking third and do a good job."
