WHAT'S ON GUIDE: MILLWALL (H)

16 December 2016

We've got plenty going on this Saturday for the visit of Millwall.

9.00am - Ticket Office and Club Shop opens
Want to beat the queues and buy your tickets in advance? The Iron's ticket office is open from 9.00am on a matchday, so pop up and see us or call 01724 747670. Tickets can also be bought online 24/7 from https://ticketing.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/.

Our brand new club shop is also open from 9.00am, selling replica kits and much more!

11am – The Iron Bar
Enjoy a pre-match drink and watch Crystal Palace v Chelsea live on Sky Sports on the screens in the revamped supporters bar located at the rear of the Britcon Stand.

1.00pm to 1.30pm - The players arrive
The Scunthorpe United players have to arrive at the stadium by 1.30pm for their pre-match meeting with the manager, so if you're around main reception at this time, you'll stand a great chance of getting your autographs!

1.30pm - Activities get underway and turnstiles open
If you want to get your first glimpse of the pitch and sit in your seat, then turnstiles open at 1.30pm. At this time, you'll be able to purchase matchday programmes, visit our catering kiosks (menu here) and start to soak up the matchday atmosphere inside the stadium at Glanford Park.

Also, especially for this weekend's game against Millwall, we will have the Barton Town Band performing Christmas songs in the north east corner of the stadium, greeting fans as they arrive.

1.30pm - The OSG Bar opens
The OSG Bar is our special matchday room for kids of all ages to come and enjoy some free activities including playing on the Wii, table football, meet Scunny Bunny, some of the players as well as showing Sky Sports on the TV screens. There is also a bar open for refreshments for the parents.

2.15pm – Hospitality Interviews
Some of the players not involved in the matchday will be interviewed in the restaurant for guests in there followed by the Sir Ian Botham Executive Lounge.

2.15pm - Tweet from your Seat!
We're asking fans to tweet us at @SUFCOfficial with a picture of them in their seat. We'll share and retweet what we can, and also will try and put your photos in the next matchday programme.

2.20pm - Players warm up
The players will prepare themselves for action from around 2.20pm. If you want to watch them get ready and give them a cheer, be in your seat by this time. If you're in the West Stand and head for near the tunnel too, there is also the chance to get autographs and speak to the players.

2.25pm - On-pitch matchday entertainment begins
Our PA announcer Jim Coulson will emerge to talk everybody through the day's teams.

2.45pm - Teams go in
The teams will go in for their team talk at this time, so it's a great time for you to get settled into your seat.

2.50pm - Kids Penalty Shoot-Out
Specially selected junior Iron fans will take on Scunny Bunny in a pre-match penalty shoot-out in front of the Family Stand. If you want to take part at a future game then email theiron@scunthorpe-united.co.uk and we'll get in touch.

2.55pm – The team walkout
Shout loud and shout proud as the players emerge from the tunnel for the pre-match handshakes ahead of kick-off.

3.00pm - Kick-off!
And then the fun and games gets started! Can the Iron get the goals they need? It's time to find out!

3.45pm - Half-time
During the interval the Half Time Draw will be made! This will be followed by our Iron Triathlon game in front of the Britcon Stand. Want to take part? Email theiron@scunthorpe-united.co.uk and we'll get in touch.

4.00pm - Second half gets underway!
Get behind the Iron for another 45 minutes of football as we look to earn a valuable win!

At full time, the restaurant bar remains open, as well as the Iron Bar for all supporters. West Brom v Manchester United will be showing live on the screens.

The club shop and ticket office will also be open for a short period of time after the game.

We hope you have a brilliant time at Scunthorpe United!
