PROGRAMME OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR THE IRON

12 December 2016

The Iron are proud to announce that we have scooped League One Programme of the Year, awarded by Independent View.

United's 68-page programme entitled "The Iron" has taken another new look this campaign, in association with Ignition Publications, with a variety of new features while continuing with the perfect bound A5 format.

Gillingham were named as runners-up to Scunthorpe's edition, while Rochdale's publication scooped third and the most improved programme award for League One.

The Independent View is a long-running football programme magazine produced by the Northern Programme Club which covers professional and non-league football in the United Kingdom and beyond.

"We're delighted to have won this latest award," said programme editor Chris Mumby.

"I'd like to thank all all our contributors, the club photographers, our programme sellers, plus the designers and production guys at Ignition Publications. Hopefully we can win even more awards as time goes on."

Programmes continue to be FREE for all 12th Man members, with over 2,000 supporters able to read the award-winning publication without paying the £3 cover price.

Supporters can take advantage of this offer by signing up to be a 12th Man for the second half of the season with half-season tickets on sale. Be the 12th Man for the remaining 12 games this season. For further details, click here.
