Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle for United’s away clash with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
The Northamptonshire-based official last took charge of the Iron in August of last year, refereeing their 2-2 draw on the road at Colchester United.
He officiated one Dons game too, taking charge of their 2-1 away victory against Crawley Town at the beginning of the campaign.
Throughout the 2015/2016 season, Whitestone produced 119 yellow and two red cards in the 39 games he refereed.
He’ll be assisted on Tuesday by assistant referees Gavin Muge and Rob Smith, with Marc Wilson taking up the role of fourth official.
