David Webb will referee United’s home encounter with Gillingham on Saturday.
Webb refereed each of the sides once last season, officiating the Gills’ away clash with Crewe and the Iron’s FA Cup success over Leyton Orient respectively.Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the man from Lancashire produced 100 yellow and seven red cards in the 36 matches in which he was the man in the middle for.
So far in this season, Webb has taken charge of four matches, and has shown eight yellow cards, while making one dismissal.
He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Ian Dudley and Declan Ford, with Anthony Moore as the fourth official.
