Andy Haines will referee the Iron’s encounter with Burton Albion at Glanford Park this Saturday.
Haines has already officiated two United matches so far this season, both at Glanford Park (versus Coventry and Sheffield United)
Throughout the current campaign, the official from Tyne & Wear has cautioned 81 players and dismissed five in his 24 games.
He took charge of 28 games last season, two of them Iron matches, and Haines showed 75 yellow and three red cards in that time.
He will be assisted on Saturday by assistant referees Nick Hopton and Gareth Mellor, with the fourth official being Alix Pashley.
