The Iron travel to Peterborough on Saturday and will be looking to secure their fourth straight win.
Luke Williams and Kyle Wootton were on target against Bury in midweek, and Graham Alexander will hope his side can continue their good form.United have a chance of making the play-offs as the season heads into the final three games, with the side currently four points adrift.
They take on a Peterborough side that has nothing but pride to play for, as Graham Westley's outfit sit comfortably in mid-table.
The Posh lost their game in midweek against Barnsley, despite playing the second half with ten men. George Williams' last minute winner gave Barnsley a 1-0 win.
A win for the Iron could close the gap between themselves and the top six, while the Posh will hope to finish the season off strongly.
The Iron have no new injury concerns after beating Bury on Tuesday.
Jamie Ness will be assessed ahead of the trip to Peterborough after he was not risked for the visit of Bury in midweek.
Fellow midfielder Sean McAllister is also nearing a return to action, but Scott Wiseman and Jim O'Brien are out for the rest of the season.
A lot of Peterborough’s creativity comes from diminutive playmaker Erhun Oztumer, who has once again caught the eye this season.
The 5ft 3in midfielder has been impressive for Peterborough since joining in 2014, earning himself the tag of the “Turkish Messi” from supporters.
Oztumer got his first taste of senior football at Turkish side Anadolu Üsküdar, scoring five times in his spell with the club.
Having grown up in England at the Charlton youth set-up, Oztumer returned in 2012 to play for Dulwich Hamlet.
He was a stand-out performer for his side, scoring 60 goals in all competitions in his two year spell at the Isthmian League side.
His form alerted Peterborough and he has already made a big impact, scoring six goals in all competitions this season as well as assisting his teammates.
The Iron won on their visit to Peterborough last season, winning 2-1 to give Mark Robins a first win as boss.
Luke Williams gave United the lead in the first half, beating a couple of defenders and slotting past Posh 'keeper Ben Alnwick.
The hosts levelled shortly after the break as Conor Washington pounced on an Iron mistake to equalise, but the Iron soon regained the lead.
Isaiah Osbourne's effort was turned into his own net by Ricardo Santos to give the Iron a much needed victory and first under Robins.
