The Iron have confirmed a date for their Lincolnshire Senior Cup final match against Gainsborough Trinity.
The game will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 (kick-off 7.00pm) at Gainsborough’s Northolme stadium.Both sides progressed to the final via a penalty shootout, with Scunthorpe seeing off Lincoln City at Glanford Park after the scores were level at 2-2 after 90 minutes, while Trinity were required to travel to Grantham Town and beat them on spot-kicks 4-2 after a 1-1 scoreline.
It will be the second time the two teams have locked horns this season after United commenced their pre-season with a 3-0 victory at the Northolme. Goals from Andrew Boyce, Luke Williams and a penalty from Paddy Madden handed the Iron victory on that occasion.
Ticket details for the match are yet to be confirmed.
