JOHNSON WILL REFEREE SOUTHEND CLASH

25 September 2015

Kevin Johnson will be the referee when the Iron visit Roots Hall to take on Southend United this Saturday.

Johnson last took charge of a game involving United in April this year. On this occasion the Iron were 2-1 victors in a clash at Glanford Park.

He produced 95 yellow and five red cards throughout the last campaign. He is yet to dismiss anyone this season, but has shown 18 yellow cards.

While being in charge of the game at Glanford Park in April, Johnson also was the man with the whistle as United drew 1-1 with Coventry at the Ricoh Arena in February this year.

He will be assisted on Saturday by linesmen Paul Johnson and John Busby. Oleksandr Saliy will take up the role of fourth official.
