Stuart Attwell will be the referee for the Iron's clash with Barnsley at Glanford Park on Saturday.
Attwell, who last refereed a United match at the beginning of last season, has shown 41 yellow and three red cards so far this campaign.Last season, the Warwickshire official produced 95 yellow and four red cards, including one dismissal in the Iron's 3-1 defeat to Swindon Town.
Having been involved in matches at the top level of English football, Attwell will bring a wealth of experience with him on Saturday.
He will be assisted on Saturday by linesmen Alf Greenwood and Nigel Smith, with Steven Meredith as the fourth official.
