The Iron's youth team were 2-1 winners away at Hartlepool United on Saturday morning.
The game was played in freezing temperatures and very strong winds.The hosts went a goal up after 20 minutes with a shot from distance.
However, Jack Dyche was brought down in the penalty area on 35 minutes, and he stepped up to send the goalkeeper the wrong way and level the score for half-time.
In the second half, Lewis Butroid fired home the winner for the Iron in an excellent team performance and result against the league leaders.
Academy manager Tony Daws said: "Our players' desire and the manner in which we played today was excellent - well done to them all."
