Josh Knowles enjoyed a pre-match Glanford Park tour last weekend.

Football-mad Josh was first put into contact with the Iron at John Leggott College, where he scored the joint-level number of points in a competition which the club ran at the venue in association with the college’s open day event back in the summer.

There, United’s staff discovered his love for all things football and Scunthorpe United invited the youngster along to experience a behind-the-scenes package at Glanford Park prior to the game against Bradford City.

He and his family were taken around the stadium, sat in the home dugout and even met the players in the dressing room; who signed autographs and posed for pictures with him.

Afterwards, he went head-to-head with Scunny Bunny in the lead up to kick-off on the pitch in the pre-match penalties which take place in front of the family area of the Main Stand.

We hope that Josh thoroughly enjoyed his Scunthorpe United experience and we look forward to seeing him at Glanford Park many more times in the future.
