Firstly I must state my true disappointment, in the way the team capitulated during the second half of yesterday's match.

This was certainly one of the most disappointing performances I have seen since I took over and one that embarrasses not only the club, but also the management. The hard work they put in week in week out is undone in such a short time and we can only express our apologies for that second half display.

I have stood by these players from day one and I will again, because they are the only ones who can make amends, but my patience and yours has been stretched to a limit, so from now on there are no excuses.

The players on the fringe of this team should be knocking on Mark's door on Monday morning and demanding the opportunity to play after what was dished out against Peterborough, where only a couple of players could hold their heads high.

That is not good enough, we expect passion, commitment and energy and we lacked all of that on a day when we should be thinking about play-offs, not just getting through the game.
We as a club strive to improve ourselves and to deliver a team of players who can take us places, whilst being paid a good wage and being treated well. In return we only ask for 100% on a match day, a fair trade in my book.

The players need to respond and respond quickly, that is the only way we can alleviate the previous game and really the only way they can gain our faith back.
A few may well be looking over their shoulder now and that is not a bad thing in my book, especially with January coming, it is down to them to perform and hold down that place in the team.
We will get over it, we always do, but it is not less painful and raw at the time and I wanted you, the fans to know my frustration.
To the team, we as fans expect a response, so get us into the next round of the FA Cup and kick on towards the play offs!
