A GAME WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO

20 November 2015

Iron manager Mark Robins hopes to welcome a few players back for the clash with Bradford City at Glanford Park.

Robins stated Saturday's game is the start of a good run of fixtures for United, as they face the Bantams this weekend, Bury on Tuesday and then Peterborough on Saturday.

"We should have a few more players back, but there's still one or two nursing bumps and bruises. Hopefully we can have everybody back," he told The Iron PlayerHD.

Robins also provided an update on the current injury situation and he feels, on a whole, things are slowly turning for the better.

"Bish (Neal Bishop) is back in training, Luke's (Luke Daniels) been doing strengthening work," he said.

"Jamie Ness, he's back and will be on the training ground very soon. Stephen Dawson is there or thereabouts as well, ready to come back onto the grass."

Robins says Saturday's clash gives the Iron an opportunity to bounce straight back from the disappointment of the defeat against Swindon.

Should United emerge victorious against the Bantams, they'd make it five wins on the bounce at Glanford Park, and Robins insists it's vital to maintain the strong form which has been shown at home.

"They're doing okay and are round about the play-offs," he said.

"I think they're seventh as we speak and we know about them, we know the players and it's a game we're very much looking forward to.

"It gives us a chance to bounce back from the Swindon game, which was a disappointment on Saturday. We could have won the game and we should have won the game.

"Results at home have been good and we want to maintain that. It's a real good feature of our season so far and we've got to maintain the form we're showing here. Hopefully we can get the right result this weekend, but it's a game we can look forward to."
