Do you know a child who is mad about the Iron? Would you like to reward them for their recent success?

We could arrange that! We are running a competition to get an Iron star to come and visit a child in the Easter holidays as reward for their work during the half term leading up to Easter.

We’re asking for people (family members, teachers, friends, etc.) to nominate a child to receive the prize, giving reasons as to why the likes of Paddy Madden, Kevin van Veen or Sam Slocombe should come and visit them, with us picking winners on the basis of their reasoning.

So maybe this particular child has made massive progress at school, scored full marks in a test or an important piece of coursework or they’ve done something exceptional outside of school that you feel needs rewarding.

Anyone can enter any child, and there’s no limit to the amount of entries you can put in. Entries can be sent to: and will be accepted from today’s date until Friday, March 20, 2015 at 5pm.

The selected winners will receive a visit from a player during the Easter holidays, so the recipients must be available at some point between Monday, March 30, 2015 and Friday, April 10, 2015 (excluding the weekend).

There will be four visits made by a first team player, so you have a one in four chance of getting your child rewarded by their exceptional efforts.
