ALL IN OUR HANDS

23 March 2015

Disappointing as the last seven games have been, we must remember where we were in the league not long ago.

Bottom of the league and floundering, the new Management team picked us up and got us to a point, where we felt we could reach for the play offs.

Unfortunately our recent run of games without a win has just made life a little more difficult, but I am certain we can turn this around.

If we ever were going to have a blip and run like this, now is the time to have it, with 10 games to go, all is still in our own hands.

The Management and players attitude is excellent and they will ensure we get through these remaining games and consolidate our position in this league.

Our aim at this club is to get some consistency both on and off the field and with that want, we must have patience.

I have begun to change the way we do things here at the club and I have done that with the future in mind, so on the field we just need to knuckle down to the basics and grind out a few results and this team will do that.

Off the field I am delighted to have appointed Jim Rodwell as our CEO, someone I have known for a few years, who has the drive and determination to get us up and operational in the new Stadium.

This period in our history gives us the opportunity to ensure, we have a thriving and successful football club which not only has ambition on the pitch, but a new business ethic off of it.

Everybody will be nervous, its human nature, whether that is due to results or the move to a new home, but we expect everyone of us to give 100% and if we do, we will succeed.

I truly believe we have the Players, Management, staff and fans to help us do this, so lets get it done!

Keep the faith,

Peter Swann
Chairman
