HIGHFIELD HOUSE SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE IRON

9 June 2015

Scunthorpe local Highfield House has continued their support for the Iron, now proudly displaying a 12th Man banner.

Their banner has been placed facing the car park of the free house, situated on the back of the bowls shed, with the sport a key feature of the pub, with many patrons also choosing to engage in the activity.

Highfield House is situated on the outskirts of the town centre, on Frances Street, hosting a darts board, pool tables and a full-sized snooker table; serving drinks from Sam Smith’s breweries at low prices.

The establishment began their support back in February when we launched our #SupportIronLocally campaign and have been a prominent feature of our support ever since.

The club would like to thank the pub owner and landlord for their continued support, while we also reserve special appreciation for the owner of the bowls shed who allowed the banner to be attached to it.

We’re also looking for other establishments to get on board and help promote the Iron heading into the 2015/16 season. Could this be you? Email james.moody@scunthorpe-united.co.uk for more details and you could be added to our growing list – and receive advertisements like this one thanking you for your support.
