GETTING TO LINCOLN UNITED

24 July 2015

Here is a travel guide for all those supporters making the trip to Lincoln United in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup on Saturday, July 25 (1pm kick-off).

The Iron will travel to Ashby Avenue for the quarter finals of the competition.

BY CAR:
The journey should take roughly 50 minutes and the quickest way is to stay on the A15 for 20.4 miles. Then take the third exit of the roundabout which leads onto the A46 and then stay on the A46 for 3.4 miles until reaching Skellingthorpe Roundabout, where you should take the 2nd exit onto Lincoln Road. Keep following Lincoln Road and then continue onto Skellingthorpe Road before turning right onto Ashby Avenue where the destination will be on the right.

BY TRAIN:
It takes around an hour and 19 minutes from Scunthorpe, if, for example you were to take the 11:03 train (with one change at Barnetby) it would get you there for 12:22. It's a 56 minute walk from the station to the ground, however to save yourself some time, there is a bus service that runs every ten minutes. This service takes just under 20 minutes and leaves you only seven minutes from the ground.
