The Iron have signed Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke for an undisclosed fee.

The right-back, who is also capable of playing in central defence, signs a two-and-a-half year contract.

Aged 23, Clarke has made 144 appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring four goals, having graduated through their youth system.

The 6ft 0in defender is a former England U19 and U20 international, and enjoyed a loan spell at Yeovil Town earlier this season, scoring two goals in five games.

The move reunites him with his former Sky Blues boss Mark Robins.
