The Iron go into this evening's fixture at the Ricoh Arena making one change from the weekend's defeat to Oldham Athletic.
Andrew Boyce is replaced by Alex Davey at the heart of Scunthorpe's defence, with the former Lincoln City defender dropping to the bench.
That means that along with manager Mark Robins facing his former club, Jordan Clarke and Gary McSheffrey both start against the Sky Blues.
Elsewhere, Luke Williams plays against the Iron after his loan spell with the club earlier in the season.
