Iron winger Hakeeb Adelakun feels the FA Cup second round victory against Leyton Orient was a big one for the club.
Adelakun rounded off a 3-0 victory with a stoppage time finish to set up a clash with Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge."It's a big win for us, and obviously the next round is a big game for us against Chelsea," he told The Iron PlayerHD.
"Everyone is buzzing, in the changing room everyone we were so happy and it'll be a great experience for us.
"I thought we dominated the game, kept the ball a lot and kept it moving and once we got the first goal we grew in confidence."
After struggling to break down the O's in the opening period, Mark Robins's side stepped things up after the break, and Adelakun praised Robins' influence on the improved display.
He also highlighted the importance of scoring so soon after breaking the deadlock, and he believes Jack King's strike was what finished the visitors off.
"The gaffer got the best out of us. Everyone wanted the ball more and were getting on it, and were more composed," he said.
"The second goal punished them, because that gives them a big knock, then their heads went down and they think there's a big hill to climb.
"We were able to progress from there."
