GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR PRESLEY

24 August 2015

Young supporter Presley Pass experienced a behind-the-scenes tour ahead of Saturday’s goalless draw with Millwall.

Presley, aged seven and attending his first Iron match, heard PA announcer Jim Coulson speaking on the Iron microphone while having dinner at Frankie and Benny’s when we entertained Crewe Alexandra seven days prior and enquired whether he could go to a game.

The youngster was treated to a mini-stadium tour, including access to the changing room – meeting all of the players, getting autographs and photos – while also sitting in the dugout for the warm-up and taking a penalty against Scunny Bunny.

His day was completed with a goodie bag as commemoration of the day.

Presley’s dad Tony said: “I’d like to say a massive thank you for all that the club delivered on Saturday. It made the day a very special one and also gave Presley a story he can tell all his mates about next week when he goes back to school.

“I can honestly say that Presley thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed watching the game with my son sat next to me.

“We are already planning to watch either the Blackpool or Coventry game and then hopefully many more in the future.”
