On Friday, general manager David Beeby was delighted to present Paul Verrico of local charity TeamVerrico with a cheque for £667.
The money donated is one third of Scunthorpe United's share from the 2014/15 community shield.
We will present the other two thirds of the money at the next two Saturday home games.
