Iron boss Mark Robins confirmed that youngster Levi Sutton would undergo a scan on an injury sustained in training. The second year trainee midfielder picked up the knock in Monday morning’s session, training with the first team, and Robins said the worst fears are that Sutton has suffered a break.
The Iron boss said he is hopeful that it is not as bad as first feared and confirmed the club were waiting for the outcome of the scan.
Robins told The Iron Player: “We've had an injury on Monday morning to Levi Sutton, who we think may have suffered a break.
“It was a really innocuous thing on the training ground. He's slid and he's in a bit of pain. We're just hoping that it's not as bad as we may have feared.”
