SCOTT HANDED MK DONS AWAY CLASH

7 April 2015

Graham Scott will be the referee for Tuesday’s League One clash between Scunthorpe United and MK Dons at stadiummk.

The Oxfordshire based official will be taking charge of his 38th game this season, in a year where he has officiated in his first Premier League fixture.

He has shown three red cards and 121 yellow cards, including seven in his solitary Premier League game this season, and has already seen the Iron in action.

He refereed the 2-0 away win over Forest Green in the FA Cup, where a Gary McSheffrey brace sent the Iron through, and the only Scunthorpe player booked was Eddie Nolan.

The last time he was in charge of a fixture involving MK Dons was in January 2012 and was a game to forget for the League One side as Scott sent off Matthias Doumbe in their 4-2 away loss at Stevenage.

The previous time he was in charge of a Dons match also saw a dismissal for one of their players when he sent off Darren Potter in a 1-0 victory away at Yeovil Town back in 2011.

MK Dons currently sit in third position in the Sky Bet League One table and have won their last three matches, including a 3-0 win over Swindon Town on Saturday.

Scunthorpe are also entering the fixture on the back of a win, after their impressive 2-0 win over Peterborough United at Glanford Park. Theo Robinson and Paddy Madden scored the goals to propel the Iron up the table to 17th and three points clear of the relegation zone.

Referee Scott will be assisted by Matt Foley and Christopher Pollard, with Nicholas Kinseley acting as the fourth official.
