Sky Bet, the sponsors of the Football League, have priced the away side at 5/2 to win the game and have made a draw 12/5.

The Iron come into the fixture on a high following Saturday’s 2-1 success over Crawley, which moved them above Port Vale into 17th position in the Sky Bet League One table.

A deflected Jordan Clarke shot put Mark Robins’ side ahead against Crawley before Paddy Madden scored the goal which proved to be the winner.

Full back Clarke is 25/1 to open the scoring this midweek and he is 7/1 to score at any time in the 90 minutes.

Striker Madden is the lowest priced Scunthorpe player to find the net at any time at 5/4 and he is 9/2 to score the first goal of the game. For a successive 2-1 Scunthorpe victory at Glanford Park, Sky Bet are offering a price of 15/2.

The previous meeting between this two sides earlier this season resulted in a 2-2 draw, with Neal Bishop and Lyle Taylor scoring the Iron goals. A repeat score is 14/1 and for there to be four or more goals in the game is 6/1.

Port Vale haven’t won in their last seven matches and have failed to score in their previous two. Iron goalkeeper Luke Daniels will therefore hope to pick up a clean sheet on Tuesday night and Sky Bet have priced that at 6/4.

Sky Bet are also offering some match specials for this League One clash. Scunthorpe to score two or more first half goals is 11/2, whilst Port Vale are 10/1. Also, the home side are 6/1 to score inside the opening 10 minutes, whereas the visitors are 9/1.

After Saturday’s vital victory over Crawley, Scunthorpe United will go into this fixture in high spirits and their price of 21/20 to make it successive wins may be the bet of this midweeks set of fixtures.
