GET YOUR SCHOOL INVOLVED

20 April 2015

There’s still time to get your school involved this season!

Since last month, the club has got involved with many more of the local schools and now has no fewer than 16 primary and secondary schools in Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas who all put up posters for the Iron and have all taken advantage of free tickets to the under 16’s learners at their establishment.

In addition to that, John Leggott College have also recently agreed to put up posters for the football club as we aim to tackle the students and make their aware of the student rates and discounts we offer.

We’d currently like to thank the staff and student ambassadors at Crosby Primary, Frederick Gough, Grange Lane Junior, Henderson Avenue, Hibaldstow Academy, Huntcliff School, Melior, Messingham Primary, New Holland Church of England Primary, Oakfield Primary, Scotter Primary, Sir John Nelthorpe, St Bede’s, St Hugh’s, St Luke’s and Winterton Junior School.

It’s not too late to get involved this season and continue that relationship with the football club into next season. The scheme is the perfect way to engage your students, linking learning to Scunthorpe United Football Club and also have an aspect of rewards coming from it to motivate the learners through the academic year.

Are you a teacher and are interested in getting your school involved? Or maybe you’re a student or a parent and have noticed your school isn’t on the list and you’d like them to be.

We’d like to hear from you! Email james.moody@scunthorpe-united.co.uk for more details.
