BOTH SIDES 13/8 TO WIN THIS FRIDAY

2 April 2015

United are joint-favourites for victory when Peterborough visit North Lincolnshire on Good Friday.

It will be Mark Robins’ team’s 39th game of the campaign when they host the Posh at Glanford Park and the league’s official sponsor provides the same odds for both sides.

Both the Iron and the promotion-chasing Posh are 13/8 to win the fixture, while a draw is valued at 23/10.

Over 50 different betting options are available on www.SkyBet.com/Scunthorpe, including the Iron to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 at 17/2.

The last meeting between these sides saw the Iron win 2-1 and the same result is 17/2, while Scunthorpe drew 2-2 at Notts County last time out and a repeat scoreline is 12/1.

A draw at half-time and Scunthorpe win at full-time is 5/1 and over 2.5 goals in the game is 10/11, both teams to score is 8/11.

Scunthorpe to win with both teams scoring is a tempting 4/1, while top scorer Paddy Madden is joint-favourite to net in the game.

The Irish forward is 6/1 to score first and 7/4 anytime, while last week’s debut scorer Theo Robinson is 12/5 anytime and 15/1 to score a brace.

Niall Canavan scored the equalising goal at Meadow Lane and he is 28/1 to score the game’s last goal for the consecutive match.

Isaiah Osbourne had his shot deflected in when United beat Peterborough at London Road in November and he is 7/1 to score anytime on Friday.

New Posh arrival Luke Williams was on loan at Scunthorpe earlier in the season - he scored for the Iron at Peterborough - and he is 12/5 to score anytime for the away team. Shaun Brisley also spent time at Glanford Park earlier this term and he is 28/1 to score last and 9/1 anytime.

The Posh’s top scorer is Conor Washington and he is joint-favourite with Madden at 6/1, while Aaron McLean is 2/1 anytime.

Elsewhere in the division on Good Friday, Crewe and Yeovil host Crawley and Chesterfield respectively, Walsall play Notts County, Port Vale face off with Colchester and Oldham welcome leaders Bristol City. It is third versus fourth on Saturday at the County Ground, as Swindon host MK Dons.
