TAYLOR OUT WITH THIGH STRAIN

25 September 2014

Iron manager Russ Wilcox has confirmed striker Lyle Taylor faces a couple of weeks out of action.

The forward picked up a thigh injury, which was scanned earlier this week, in the 2-1 home defeat to Leyton Orient at the weekend.

"He has a slight thigh strain and we're hoping he's only going to be out for a couple of weeks," Wilcox told The Iron Player.

"You never know, you can get setbacks sometimes but we're being positive and working hard to try and get him back out there in a couple of weeks' time.

"We're hoping he'll be available for the Doncaster game. That might come a little bit too soon but we'll see how he progresses this week and the start of next week, and take it from there."
